The Guardian Necklace features an ancient Silver Litra struck 474-450 B.C.E. This rare and near-perfect coin depicts a fantastic octopus, all eight arms extended. The necklace also features a pair of round Ethiopian opals flanking our octopus and bezel-set within the chain, as well as a fine 14mm Tahitian Pearl chained below the coin and capped in gold flush-set with black diamonds. Obverse of the coin features the goddess Arethusa, quietly resting against the skin when worn. the toggle closure is set with white diamonds in the end-caps.

Obverse, Arethusa, the princicpal goddess of Syracuse. She wears a Tainia around head.
Reverse, OCTOPUS. All eight tentacles seen. Well centered, perfect octopus.
